Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (or mix-ins like chopped nuts or oats)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for drizzle, optional)
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk or cream (for drizzle, optional)

Instructions 

  • Mix softened butter, sugars, egg, pumpkin, and vanilla until fluffy.
  • Whisk dry ingredients and spices separately, then combine with wet mixture.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and form dough balls.
  • Preheat air fryer to 325°F (160°C). Line basket with parchment.
  • Place dough balls in basket, cook for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden.
  • Cool cookies on wire rack. Optional: mix powdered sugar and milk for drizzle.

Notes

For softer cookies, slightly underbake; for crunchier, bake a bit longer.
