A delicious and wholesome apple crisp featuring almond butter and coconut sugar, perfect for a cozy dessert or snack.

Ingredients

Dough Topping

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil or ghee
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Apple Filling

  • 6 medium apples (pink lady, braeburn, honeycrisp, granny smith)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×10 inch baking dish.
  • Mix coconut oil, almond butter, coconut sugar, and cinnamon to make the crumble topping. Add oats and combine until crumbly.
  • Slice apples and toss with lemon juice and cinnamon. Spread in baking dish.
  • Distribute crumble topping evenly over apples. Bake for 55-80 minutes until golden and bubbling. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.
