Delight in these rich, fudgy brownies made with almond flour and chocolate chips, perfect for a gluten-free treat.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour, packed
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet ingredients

  • 3 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped milk chocolate or chocolate chips

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 9x9 inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and sugar until smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in chopped chocolate or chips.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until slightly set in the center.
  • Cool completely before slicing. Serve with optional whipped cream and berries.

Notes

For a fudgier texture, slightly underbake the brownies.
