Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch dish.
Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt; set aside half for topping.
Whisk molasses, baking soda, hot water, and egg until smooth; layer crumb mixture in crust, pour molasses mixture over, then top with remaining crumbs.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and set. Cool for 2 hours before slicing.
