Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter and flour an 8×8 inch dish.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Melt butter, stir in sugar, vanilla, then add egg.
Combine wet and dry, then fold in apples. Spread batter in dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool before cutting.
Notes
For best results, use fresh apples and do not overmix the batter.
