A delightful combination of crispy apple chips, sweet candied walnuts, and crunchy popcorn, perfect for a cozy treat or sharing with friends.
Ingredients
Apple Chips
1mediumbaking apple (such as Gala or Pink Lady)
Candied Walnuts
1cupchopped walnuts
3Tbspmaple syrup
1/4tspsalt
Popcorn
1/3cuppopcorn kernels
5Tbspcoconut oil or vegetable oil
1 1/2tspapple pie spice
1/2tspsalt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C). Slice apple into thin disks, bake for 35 mins, flip, bake 25 mins, then cool in oven for 1-2 hrs. Store cooled apple chips.
Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Mix walnuts with maple syrup, salt, spread on parchment, bake 10 mins, cool 15 mins, then break apart. Store in sealed container.
Melt coconut oil. Heat popcorn kernels over medium-high, pop 3 kernels, then add remaining, shake until most pop. Remove from heat, stir in coconut oil, apple pie spice, and salt.
Combine apple chips, candied walnuts, and popcorn in a large bowl. Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crunch, store apple chips in an airtight container overnight before mixing.
