Ingredients

  • 2 pieces ripe avocados
  • 1 piece lime (juiced)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 4 oz smoked salmon (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon capers (drained)

Instructions 

  • Cut avocados, remove pits, and scoop flesh into a blender.
  • Add lime juice, sour cream, dill, chives, salt, and pepper; blend until smooth.
  • Divide mousse into glasses, top with smoked salmon slices.
  • Garnish with capers, dill, and lemon wedges; serve chilled.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon just before serving.
