Dried ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (⅜ stick)
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 10-12 pieces chicken wingettes (tips removed, thawed if frozen)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and dot with butter.
  • Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Coat wings fully in flour mixture and place on the baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, then flip wings and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  • Serve hot with dipping sauce and optional parsley.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end.
