Delicious and healthy banana brownies made with natural ingredients, perfect for a quick treat.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 cup all natural creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1 egg egg
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • cup pure maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix all ingredients except chocolate chips until thick.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Spread batter into the pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes until barely set in the middle.
  • Cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
