4tbspcanola oil
1/2cupwhite sugar
1/4cuplight brown sugar
3ripe bananasmashed bananas
3/4cupplain Greek yogurt
2eggseggs
1tspvanilla extract
Chocolate Chips
1/2cupmilk chocolate chips
Peanut Butter Layer
2/3cupcreamy peanut butter
4tbspsoftened butter
2/3cuppowdered sugar
Chocolate Frosting
2/3cupunsweetened cocoa powder
3-4tbspmilk or heavy cream
1tspvanilla extract
pinchsalt
Cocoa Krispies
1/4cupCocoa Krispies cereal
Additional
2 1/2cupssticks unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mash bananas, then mix with oil, eggs, yogurt, and brown sugar.
Whisk dry ingredients separately, then combine with wet mixture until smooth. Melt chocolate chips and swirl into part of the batter.
Pour plain batter into greased pans, add chocolate swirl, and bake for 40-45 minutes. Cool completely.
Prepare peanut butter frosting and chocolate frosting. Layer peanut butter frosting in the middle of cooled cake, then frost entire cake and top with Cocoa Krispies.
Notes
For best results, use ripe bananas and ensure cakes are completely cooled before frosting.
