A quick and flavorful stir fry combining tender beef with crisp broccoli in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb US Wellness Meats Stir Fry Beef

Vegetables

  • 1 red pepper red pepper (sliced)
  • 3 cups fresh or frozen broccoli

Liquids and seasonings

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions 

  • Slice the beef and set aside.
  • Mix soy sauce, water, ginger, sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to make the sauce.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef until browned, then add broccoli and red pepper, stir-frying until vegetables are tender.
  • Pour in the sauce and bring to a simmer. Mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry, then add to thicken the sauce.
  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For a healthier option, use less soy sauce and add more vegetables.
