A quick and flavorful stir fry combining tender beef with crisp broccoli in a savory sauce.

Vegetables
1red pepperred pepper (sliced)
3cupsfresh or frozen broccoli
Liquids and seasonings
1cupwater
1tspground ginger
1tbspbrown sugar
½tspkosher salt
¼tspblack pepper
½tspgarlic powder
½tsponion powder
½cupsoy sauce
3tbspvegetable oil
2tbspcornstarch
Instructions
Slice the beef and set aside.
Mix soy sauce, water, ginger, sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to make the sauce.
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef until browned, then add broccoli and red pepper, stir-frying until vegetables are tender.
Pour in the sauce and bring to a simmer. Mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry, then add to thicken the sauce.
Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
For a healthier option, use less soy sauce and add more vegetables.
