A quick and flavorful beef stir-fry with noodles, coated in a sweet and savory sticky sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 10 oz beef steak (thinly sliced, against the grain if possible)
  • 8 oz egg noodles or rice noodles (cooked according to package instructions)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 piece bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 piece carrot (julienned)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 green onions sliced green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 inch ginger (grated)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with water for thickening)
  • 2 tbsp water (for slurry)

Instructions 

  • Slice beef into thin strips and chop vegetables. Cook noodles according to package, then drain and toss with sesame oil.
  • Whisk soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and chili flakes to make the sticky sauce. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, sear beef until browned, then remove. Stir-fry garlic and ginger, add vegetables, cook briefly.
  • Return beef to pan, pour in sauce, add slurry, and cook until thickened. Toss in noodles, heat through, and coat evenly.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot. Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds for crunch.

Notes

Use high heat for stir-frying and keep ingredients ready for quick cooking.
