Ingredients

Dough

  • 2.5 cups Plain Flour (450 g)
  • 2 tsp Instant Yeast (7 g)
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • Warm Water for kneading dough

Filling

  • 2 cups Boiled Chicken Shredded (See Notes)
  • ½ onion Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • ¼ tsp White Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Sauce (Substitute Tomato Sauce)
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 egg Lightly Beaten

Seeds

  • Nigella seeds and sesame seeds Nigella seeds and sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • Prepare the dough by mixing flour, yeast, salt, sugar, and water; knead until smooth.
  • Cook the shredded chicken with chopped onion, butter, spices, and chili sauce; let it cool.
  • Roll out the dough, spread the filling, and braid the bread.
  • Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle seeds, and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes.

Notes

Ensure the dough is kneaded well for a soft texture.
