Delight in soft, buttery breadsticks infused with garlic and Italian herbs, perfect as a side or snack.
Ingredients
Dough

all-purpose flour
(plus extra for dusting)

active dry yeast
(one packet)

warm water
(105–115°F / 40–46°C)

granulated sugar

tbsp
unsalted butter
(softened)

salt

unsalted butter
(melted)

garlic cloves
(minced or 2 tsp garlic powder)

Italian seasoning
(a blend of dried oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary)

finely grated Parmesan cheese
(optional)

fresh parsley
(chopped, optional)
Instructions
Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar; let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
Mix in flour, salt, and softened butter; knead until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down dough and divide into 8 pieces.
Roll each piece into a stick, place on baking sheet, and brush with melted butter mixed with garlic and Italian seasoning.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden. Brush with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle Parmesan and parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add more garlic or cheese as desired.
