A simple and flavorful way to enjoy tender turnips with butter and herbs, perfect as a side dish.

Instructions
Peel and dice turnip into 1/2 inch cubes, then rinse and transfer to a saucepan.
Cover turnip with water so it's one inch above, then bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Boil for 20 minutes, then add rosemary and thyme, cooking for another 10 minutes until fork-tender.
Drain and discard water, then stir in black pepper and butter until melted and combined.
Season with additional salt if needed, then serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving.
