A delicious layered parfait combining warm caramel apples, creamy yogurt, and crunchy granola for a perfect treat.

Ingredients

Dough and Toppings

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 apples peeled and chopped apples
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Yogurt and Toppings

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1/2 - 1 cup granola (to taste)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tsp light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions 

  • Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Toss apples with cinnamon, salt, and sugar; cook with water until tender and saucy (~20 min).
  • Make caramel: boil sugar, corn syrup, lemon juice, and water until golden; whisk in cream and vanilla, then cool.
  • Assemble parfaits: layer yogurt, apples, more yogurt, then top with granola and caramel sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with a touch of cinnamon on top.
