Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (Melted)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Filling

  • 1 cup caramel sauce (Store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (Walnuts or pecans)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix melted butter and sugar until well combined. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing thoroughly.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spread caramel sauce over the batter, then add remaining batter on top. Swirl with a knife.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts on top. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs. Cool before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the nuts before adding.
