Ingredients

  • 3 pieces onions (thin half moon slices)
  • ½ cup fig jam

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cook onions in butter and oil over medium heat until golden, about 8-10 minutes, then reduce heat and caramelize for 20-25 minutes, deglazing as needed.
  • Spread fig jam on flatbread, top with caramelized onions, then crumble goat cheese on top.
  • Bake for 7-8 minutes, then broil for 1 minute. Garnish with fresh rosemary before serving.

Notes

Use ready-to-use flatbread for best results.
