Delight in soft, flavorful naan stuffed with cheese and infused with garlic, perfect for any meal or snack.
Ingredients
For the Dough
2
cups
all-purpose flour
(plus extra for dusting)

tsp
active dry yeast
1
tsp
sugar
1/2
cup
warm water
(not hot)

tsp
salt
1/4
cup
plain yogurt
(room temperature)

tbsp
olive oil or ghee
For the Filling & Topping
1
cup
shredded mozzarella cheese
4
cloves
garlic
(minced)
2
tbsp
butter or ghee
(melted, for brushing)
fresh cilantro or parsley
Instructions
Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water; let sit 10 minutes until frothy.
Add flour, yogurt, salt, and oil; knead until smooth, then let rise 1–2 hours.
Divide dough into 6 balls, roll into ovals, fill with cheese and garlic, then fold and seal.
Cook naan on high heat 1–2 minutes per side until golden and blistered.
Brush with melted butter or ghee and garnish with herbs if desired.
Notes
For best results, use fresh garlic and high-quality cheese.
