Crust and Batter
6ouncescream cheese (softened)
1/4cupgranulated sugar
2tablespoonsgranulated sugar
1largeegg (room temperature)
1tspvanilla extract
1/2cupunsalted butter
2/3cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4cupgranulated sugar
2largeeggs
2tspvanilla extract
1/2cupall-purpose flour(see notes below for measuring)
1/2cupunsweetened cocoa powder
1/2tspsalt
Instructions
Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Make cheesecake batter: beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add egg and vanilla. Set aside.
Prepare brownie batter: melt butter and chocolate chips. Whisk eggs, vanilla, and sugar, then stream in melted mixture. Fold in flour, cocoa, and salt.
Alternate scoops of brownie and cheesecake batters into the pan. Swirl gently with a toothpick for marbling.
Bake for 26 minutes, then cool completely. Cut into 16 pieces and store.
Notes
