A deliciously cheesy and garlicky bread perfect for sharing. This pull-apart bread is easy to prepare and irresistibly flavorful.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 1 loaf sourdough or crusty Italian bread loaf
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • Optional Crushed red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning (Optional for added flavor)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
  • Cut a 1-inch grid into the loaf without cutting through the bottom crust. Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt. Stuff cheese into the cuts. Brush with garlic butter.
  • Wrap in foil and bake for 15 minutes. Unwrap and bake 10-15 more minutes until golden and cheese melts.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning before baking.
