Instructions
Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let foam for 8-10 mins.
Add egg, flour, and salt to the yeast mixture; mix until dough forms.
Knead dough with butter until smooth, then let rise until doubled (~60-90 mins).
Prepare garlic butter; roll out dough, spread garlic butter, add cheese, then roll and cut into 8 pieces.
Arrange rolls in a greased pan, let rise (~25-35 mins), then brush with egg wash.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 mins until golden; brush with melted garlic butter before serving.
Notes
For best results, ensure dough is slightly tacky and rolls are evenly cut.
