Pane Di Casa, Vienna, or Sourdough bread, unsliced

butter, melted

Instructions
Prepare the bread by cutting slits across the top, creating a grid pattern.
Mix melted butter with crushed garlic and Italian herbs.
Drizzle garlic butter into all slits of the bread.
Layer toppings: spread pizza sauce, add onions, tomato, pepperoni, and cheese.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Rest briefly, then sprinkle with basil before serving.
