A creamy and flavorful Chicken Alfredo combines tender pasta with seasoned chicken in a rich Parmesan sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 16 ounces dry fettuccine pasta

Chicken

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Oils and Butter

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup butter (cut into large cubes or slices)

Cream and Cheese

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  • Cook the fettuccine until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then cook in olive oil until golden and cooked through. Add butter and cook briefly.
  • Rest the chicken, then slice. In the same pan, melt butter, add cream, garlic, seasonings, and simmer until thickened. Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  • Combine sauce with cooked pasta, then top with sliced chicken. Garnish as desired.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
