A creamy and comforting chicken Alfredo cooked effortlessly in the crockpot, perfect for a hearty family meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta (Break pasta in half before adding.)
  • 1 cup frozen peas (Optional ingredient.)
  • Fresh parsley (Chopped, for garnish.)

Instructions 

  • Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • Mix heavy cream, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and nutmeg; pour over chicken.
  • Cook on low for 4 hours, then shred chicken and return to crockpot.
  • Add broken fettuccine and peas; cook for 30 minutes until pasta is tender.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Stir well before serving to combine flavors.
