A delicious combination of creamy chicken Alfredo served with toasted garlic bread, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 small chicken breasts (cut into ½ inch pieces)
  • 1 loaf Italian style loaf
  • 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning (or salt, pepper, garlic powder)
  • 1.5 sticks unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic (or garlic paste)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.25 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream

Instructions 

  • Marinate chicken with olive oil and poultry seasoning for 10 minutes.
  • Cook chicken until golden, then set aside. Slice bread and spread garlic butter mixture on both halves.
  • Toast bread until golden, then prepare Alfredo sauce in same pan with butter, garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes.
  • Add cream, parmesan, and remaining parsley; simmer until slightly thickened. Spread sauce on bread, top with chicken and mozzarella, then bake for 5 minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle additional parsley or cheese before serving.
