Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with liners or grease.
Mix mashed bananas and sugar until combined. Add melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips. Divide batter evenly into muffin cups.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a handful of chopped nuts or more chocolate chips.
