Delight in these rich, homemade chocolate cups filled with creamy coconut butter and topped with shredded coconut for added texture and flavor.

Ingredients

Chocolate

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup coconut butter
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut (optional, for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • Melt half of the dark chocolate chips until smooth.
  • Spoon 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate into each liner, freeze 10 minutes.
  • Mix coconut butter, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  • Remove from freezer, add coconut butter layer, then top with remaining melted chocolate, freeze 20 minutes.
  • Garnish with shredded coconut if desired, then remove from liners and enjoy.

Notes

Keep refrigerated for best texture.
