Delight in these no-bake chocolate fudge oat bars, combining rich chocolate with wholesome oats for a satisfying treat.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 155 g rolled oats
  • 110 g ground oats (oat flour)
  • 0.5 tsp cardamom
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 120 ml coconut oil (melted)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 120 ml tahini

Instructions 

  • Mix oats, oat flour, salt, and cardamom in a bowl, then add melted coconut oil and maple syrup.
  • Optional: dry toast oats and cool completely before mixing.
  • Press three-fourths of the mixture into a lined 7-inch square tin.
  • Freeze for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, melt chocolate and mix with tahini until smooth.
  • Pour chocolate mixture over the oat base, sprinkle remaining oat mixture on top, then freeze for 30-60 minutes.

Notes

For easier digestion, toast oats before mixing. Keep refrigerated for best results.
