Delight in these rich and crunchy chocolate hazelnut oat bars, perfect for a quick snack or dessert.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • 0.5 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup chopped hazelnuts

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Mix flour, oats, sugars, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup of mixture.
  • Press remaining mixture into the pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Spread chocolate-hazelnut spread over crust. Sprinkle reserved oat mixture, chocolate chips, and hazelnuts on top. Press lightly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are browned. Cool before cutting into bars.
