Ingredients

Oats

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups plain, unsweetened almond milk

Sweeteners and Seeds

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Protein and Cocoa

  • 4 tablespoons chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Toppings

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (more for topping)
  • pinch ground cinnamon
  • pinch salt

Instructions 

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and stir to mix.
  • Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring continuously.
  • Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes until thickened.
  • Serve topped with extra almond butter, a pinch of salt, and fruit.
