Delicious and nutritious chocolate protein pancakes perfect for a energizing breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 0.75 cup oat flour or all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp chocolate protein powder
  • 2-3 tbsp sugar (coconut sugar)

Wet ingredients

  • 1 cup dairy-free milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 dash vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  • Add all pancake ingredients to a large bowl and mix well.
  • Grease a pan with coconut oil and pour about ¼ cup of batter for each pancake.
  • Cook each pancake for 2-4 minutes on each side until golden.
  • Melt dark chocolate and pour over pancakes. Optional: add banana coins or fruit.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of berries or sliced banana on top.
