A festive and nutritious overnight oats recipe perfect for holiday mornings, combining peppermint, candy canes, and protein for a delicious start to your day.

Ingredients

Base

  • 0.75 cup Rolled Oats
  • 5.3 ounces Greek Yogurt (Fat Free Vanilla)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 ounces Milk Substitute (or Milk)
  • 1.5 scoops Protein Powder (Vanilla)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Peppermint Extract
  • to taste Red Food Coloring
  • to taste Green Food Coloring
  • 1 candy cane Candy Cane

Instructions 

  • Combine oats, yogurt, vanilla, and milk in a bowl.
  • Mix well and add protein powder.
  • Divide mixture into two jars.
  • Add red food coloring to one half.
  • Add peppermint extract and green food coloring to the other half.
  • Mix each colored portion thoroughly.
  • Pour the colored mixtures into the jars.
  • Top with broken candy cane.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Notes

Use a small amount of food coloring to achieve vibrant colors without overpowering the flavors.
