These delightful bites combine the creaminess of cottage cheese with the sweetness of apples, making for a healthy and tasty snack.

Ingredients

Dairy

  • 1 cup cottage cheese

Grains

  • 1 cup rolled oats

Fruits

  • 1/2 cup applesauce or grated apple

Eggs

  • 1 large egg

Spices

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional) (for added sweetness)

Baking

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • pinch salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
  • Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  • Let the batter sit for 5 minutes.
  • Scoop mixture into the muffin pan, filling each cup.
  • Bake for 18–20 minutes until set and golden.
  • Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
