These delicious and healthy energy balls combine oats, dried apples, and warm spices for a perfect snack.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (can use gluten-free oats)
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chopped freeze dried apples (or dried apples)

Instructions 

  • Combine oats, flaxseed, chia seeds, cinnamon, allspice, salt, almond butter, honey, vanilla, and dried apples in a bowl.
  • Mix until ingredients are well combined and moist.
  • Form mixture into balls using a cookie scoop or by hand, then chill for 1 hour before serving.

Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
