Ingredients

Dough

  • 0.5 cup cold unsalted butter, (cubed)
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.33 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 large eggs, (room temperature)
  • 0.67 cup whole milk, (room temperature)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, (melted)
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons whole milk (for glaze)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place butter in a skillet and melt in the oven.
  • In a blender, combine eggs, milk, flour, confectioners' sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour batter into the hot skillet with melted butter. Bake for 20 minutes until puffed and golden.
  • Mix confectioners' sugar with milk to make glaze. Drizzle over baked Dutch baby.
  • Slice and serve warm, topped with cinnamon sugar if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with additional cinnamon or powdered sugar before serving.
