Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • cups granulated sugar

Wet ingredients

  • ¾ cup salted sweet cream butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Coconut and condensed milk

  • cups sweetened coconut flakes
  • cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and condensed milk. Add to dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and coconut flakes.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Cool before slicing.

Notes

For extra coconut flavor, toast the coconut flakes before folding into the batter.
