Ingredients

Eggs

  • 3 large eggs

Cottage Cheese

  • 1.5 cups cottage cheese

Butter or Oil

  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted or oil)

Maple Syrup or Honey

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey

Baking Powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Oats

  • 1.5 cups rolled or quick oats

Cooking Spray

  • as needed cooking spray (for greasing waffle maker)

Instructions 

  • Add eggs, cottage cheese, melted butter, maple syrup, baking powder, and oats to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Preheat the waffle maker and spray with cooking spray. Pour 1/4 to 1/3 cup of batter per waffle and cook until browned.
  • Serve waffles with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh fruit or a drizzle of syrup.
