Ingredients

Meat and Potatoes

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 4 medium russet potatoes (diced into ½-inch cubes)
  • 1 large yellow onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook diced potatoes in 1 tbsp olive oil for 15 minutes until crispy.
  • Push potatoes aside, cook onions for 3 minutes, then add ground beef and cook until browned. Add garlic and seasonings, then pour in beef broth.
  • Mix everything, top with cheese, and bake for 10 minutes until bubbly. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Ensure potatoes are crispy for the best texture.
