A delicious homemade granola packed with cranberries, nuts, and a hint of orange zest, perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 4 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup macadamia nuts
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3/4 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/2 Tablespoon orange zest or lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Add-ins

  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 Tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
  • Mix oats and nuts in a large bowl. In a saucepan, heat brown sugar, honey, salt, vanilla, orange zest, cinnamon, and oil until boiling, then pour over dry ingredients and stir.
  • Spread mixture evenly on the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack. Stir in dried cranberries before storing.
