Delightful crumb bars featuring tart cranberry sauce, creamy white chocolate, and crunchy almonds, perfect for festive occasions.
Ingredients
Dough

Cranberry Sauce
1
cup
cranberry sauce
(make from fresh cranberries, orange juice and zest, sugar)

cup
white chocolate chips
1/2
cup
sliced almonds
Instructions
If making cranberry sauce, cook cranberries, orange juice and zest, and sugar until thickened. Let cool.
Cream butter, sugar, salt, vanilla, and egg yolk until fluffy.
Add flour in two batches to form a crumbly dough.
Press 2/3 of dough into a lined pan, spread cranberry sauce, then top with white chocolate and almonds. Crumble remaining dough on top.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden. Cool and cut into squares.
Notes
Store in the fridge for up to a week for best freshness.
