A rich and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts

Vegetables

  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced

Oils & Condiments

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Aromatics

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Dairy & Eggs

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Herbs & Spices

  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

Garnish

  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook seasoned chicken until done. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic in the same skillet, then add mushrooms and cook until softened.
  • Pour in chicken broth, then stir in heavy cream and Parmesan, simmer until thickened.
  • Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, and cook for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with thyme and parsley before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use fresh Parmesan and thyme.
