A rich and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless chicken breasts (approx. 500g)

Vegetables

  • 2 cups cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

Dairy

  • 1 cup heavy cream

Broth

  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Herbs & Seasonings

  • 2 tsp fresh thyme (chopped)
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Garnish

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Cooking Oils & Fats

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions 

  • Slice mushrooms and mince garlic.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Cook chicken until golden (5-7 min per side). Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté mushrooms and garlic for 3-4 min until softened.
  • Add heavy cream and chicken broth, simmer 5 min until thickened. Return chicken and cook 5 more min.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine during sautéing.
