A quick and delicious pasta dish featuring a creamy tomato sauce infused with garlic and fresh basil.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1 cup ripe tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  • Heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until golden.
  • Add diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and cook until heated through.
  • Toss cooked pasta with sauce and garnish with basil.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with grated Parmesan before serving.
