These delicious homemade nut bars combine crunchy nuts, rich dark chocolate, and a touch of sea salt for a perfect snack or treat.

Ingredients

Nuts and Puffed Rice

  • 2 1/2 cups unsalted nuts of choice (includes cashews, peanuts, almonds)
  • 1/2 cup puffed rice
  • 1/4 cup brown rice syrup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • Optional flaky salt for topping

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F). Spread nuts on a sheet and bake 5-8 min.
  • Mix nuts and puffed rice. Microwave syrup, add vanilla and salt, then combine.
  • Press mixture into an 8x8-inch pan lined with parchment. Bake 18-20 min, cool, then cut into bars.
  • Melt chocolate and coconut oil, dip bars in chocolate, then drizzle tops. Add flaky salt if desired.

Store in an airtight container for best freshness.
