Indulge in these rich, triple chocolate brownies that are perfectly fudgy and irresistibly chocolatey.

Ingredients

Dried ingredients

  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1.33 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup Dutch process unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg (50 g), at room temperature
  • 1 large egg yolk (18 g), at room temperature
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 3 oz white chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 0.25 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 oz white chocolate, coarsely chopped

Toppings

  • to taste flaky salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment and spray lightly.
  • Melt butter, whisk in sugar, cocoa, and salt. Let stand 5 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla, then fold in flour and chocolates.
  • Spread batter in pan, top with chocolate chips and white chocolate, pressing gently. Bake for 30-32 minutes until set.
  • Sprinkle with flaky salt, cool completely, then cut into squares. Store at room temperature.

Notes

For extra fudginess, slightly underbake by a minute or two.
