A delightful dessert combining sweet apples, rich caramel, and a buttery crumble topping, perfect for cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

Dough and Crumble

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour

Filling

  • 3 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples
  • 0.5 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 9×13 inch pan with parchment.
  • Mix melted butter, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg until crumbly. Press two-thirds into the pan.
  • Spread sliced apples over crust, drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  • Crumble remaining mixture over apples and caramel. Bake 40-45 minutes until golden.
  • Cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
