Soft, fluffy dinner rolls perfect for any meal, made from simple ingredients and baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
Dough

1 4 ounce active dry yeast

egg, lightly beaten
Instructions
Mix sugar, yeast, salt, and 2 cups of flour in a large bowl.
Heat milk, water, and butter to 120-130°F, then add to dry ingredients and beat for 3 minutes.
Add 2 eggs and beat on high for 2 minutes, then stir in remaining flour to form a soft, sticky dough.
Knead dough on floured surface for 6-8 minutes, then let rise in a greased bowl until doubled, about 1 hour.
Punch down, divide into 24 balls, place in greased pans, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F, brush rolls with beaten egg, and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly and serve warm.
Notes
For a softer crust, proof bread in a warm oven without turning it on.
