Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound lean ground beef (Choose lean for less grease.)

Vegetables

  • 2 cups bell peppers (Use a mix of colors.)
  • 1 medium onion (Chopped.)
  • 1 medium zucchini (Sliced.)

Aromatics & Spices

  • 2 cloves garlic (Mince finely.)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (Optional.)

Cooking Oil

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (For cooking.)

Garnish

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (Chopped for garnish.)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned, then remove and set aside.
  • Sauté onions, bell peppers, zucchini, and garlic until tender.
  • Return beef to the skillet, add spices, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a lower sodium option, reduce added salt and use low-sodium spices.
