Ingredients

Dough

  • 3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 cup ice water

Instructions 

  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Add water and oil; knead into a soft dough. Rest for 10 minutes.
  • Divide dough into 10-12 pieces; roll each into a thin circle.
  • Cook each flatbread in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
  • Cool slightly and serve warm.
